Visit by representatives of DVV International (Federal Republic of Germany)

April 11, 2025 in Samarkand was visited by representatives of DVV International (Federal Republic of Germany) Uwe Gartenschlaeger - Director of DVV International, Arne Zielinski- Board Member of the DVV, Director of the Nuremberg Education Campus (the Education Campus of the City of Nuremberg is the organizational merger of the Education Centre (VHS), Katinka Maria Bartl -Deputy Director of the DVV and Head of Central Service, and Galina Veramejchyk - Regional Director of DVV International for Central Asia. During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the activities of NCSED “SABR”, visited the Vocational Skills Training Center (“Monocenter”) in Samarkand city. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the activities of one of the key partners for further cooperation. The meeting was held in an informal, friendly atmosphere. The guests were pleasantly encouraged by the new transformations in Uzbekistan and in Samarkand, the conditions created for the development of civil society and socio-economic support of the population. It should be noted that NCSED “SABR” has been a partner of DVV International in Uzbekistan for more than 10 years, and several joint projects have been implemented within the framework of this partnership. Currently, a joint project «Promoting Gender Transformative Communities through Civil Participation», is being implemented, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
