On 28 February 2026, the two-year project «Promoting Gender Transformative Communities through Civil Participation», which was co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, came to an end.
Implemented by the DVV Branch in Uzbekistan in partnership with the "SABR" National Centre for Socio-Economic Development, the project aimed to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations in Uzbekistan, thereby promoting their ability to participate as independent actors in inclusive and effective democratic governance and development.
In the final days of the project, a video was produced and broadcast on national television to highlight the relevance and significance of the results achieved.
