Opening of the Local Development Center in Samarkand

In the city of Samarkand, on the basis of the Pedagogical College, together with the Department of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Samarkand Region, with the support of Haven Wolverhampton (Great Britain), and with the participation of NANNOUz and DVV International, another Local Development Center was opened. The ICR is equipped with furniture, sewing machines, computers, hairdressing and confectionery equipment. At the center, young women from nearby makhallas, as well as college youth, will be able to gain vocational skills. And also the target group can participate in trainings where they will gain new knowledge of communication, leadership qualities, business skills and the basics of marketing, a healthy lifestyle.
