Participants: members of the Parliamentary Commission for the Management of Funds of the Public Fund for Support of Non-State Non-Profit Organizations and Other Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Advisory Council for the Development of Civil Society under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of state authorities, international organizations and diplomatic missions, URU Connect UK, NGOs and media.
The following issues were considered at the round table:
- The role of NGOs in the implementation of the State Program "Obod kishlok".
- Joint strategy of NGOs of Andijan, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Samarkand, Surkhandarya regions to create pilot Local Development Centers in order to provide employment for vulnerable groups of the population as part of the implementation of the State Program "Obod kishlok" and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 4, 2018.
- Presentation of the results of the implementation of the social order "Assistance in obtaining additional professional skills for students, youth, college students in order to ensure their self-employment" funded by the Public Fund for the support of NGOs and other civil society institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Presentation of the results of the implementation of the three-year project "Supporting the organizational development of the SED" SABR "Center and instilling professional skills in socially vulnerable groups of the population with an emphasis on girls and women" together with DVV International
- Presentation of the partnership project of the RCSED "SABR" Uzbekistan and "URU Connect" Great Britain.
