From 16 to 18 December 2021, in Samarkand trainings on the development of social partnerships of NGOs took place
National Center for Socio-Economic Development "SABR" held a three-day training on "Development of strategies and action plans for training rural women in local development centers and the development of local cooperation" within the project "Organizational development of local development centers and promote the integration of Samarkand in the global network of cities" under the financial support of DVV International of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that in 2019, at the initiative of the National Center for Socio-Economic Development "SABR" has established a partnership to provide social and economic assistance to the poor at a high level and improve their lives, by uniting the initiatives of socially-oriented public organizations working in all regions of the country.
As part of this partnership, the center will work with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations for 2019-2021 on the project "Innovative mechanisms of social cooperation in solving social problems in rural areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan and employment of low-income populations, especially women and youth." Local Development Centers have been established in all regions, except the Syrdarya region, as part of the social order. Today these centers are one of the most important facilities in the development of local social assistance to those in need.
During the training, the Director of the national Center for Socio-Economic Development "SABR", a member of the Commission on Gender Equality under the Senate of Oliy Majlis Shirinova Mavlyudakhon, Deputy Director of "SABR" on legal issues Rajabov Fakhritdin and international expert consultant Babadjanova Jamilya presented the strategy. They spoke about the cooperation of socially-oriented NGOs for the next three years. The training covered basic organizational and legal aspects of development, such as human capital, creative economy, education, work with rural women and youth in cooperation with the media, as well as targeted social issues.
During the training, a special training was organized for leaders, trainers and accountants of public organizations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan "Aral Golden Heritage", Tashkent region "Nihol" and Namangan region "Me and My Family", which effectively implement social projects.
At the end of the event, a memorandum was signed between NGOs and members of the Local Development Centers to carry out joint activities to impart professional skills and entrepreneurship training to young people, as well as women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
