In 2022, SABR, together with members of the SO NGO Network, implemented “Social Project for Conducting Special Training Courses for Women in Rural Areas of Uzbekistan”the with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Within the framework of this project, 936 women (from 16-29 years old) were trained in 22 professional areas (carpet weaving, doll making, national clothes, jewelry, hotel services, accounting, confectionery, cooking, tailoring, hairdressing, plumbing repair , computer literacy and ICT, electromechanics, plumbing, furniture manufacturing, greenhouse and gardening, beekeeping, sericulture, rabbit and poultry breeding, floriculture) in special short-term (2-month) training courses, preparation of 128-hour training modules and conducting 35- hourly trainings (social mobilization, business basics, legal and financial literacy). The students were given certificates, the students who submitted their business plans received preferential loans and grants from the NC SED "SABR".
USAID provided equipment to 234 students to start their startups in the amount of more than 220 thousand US dollars.
The number of self-employed and employed women under the project amounted to 521 people.
