From July to November 2013, employees worked on the project "Supporting the development of sustainable livelihoods of the local community and improving living standards in rural areas" from the Branch of the "German People's Universities" in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of this project, it was planned to strengthen the already functioning Local Development Center in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region.
Project goal: Improving the well-being and quality of life of young women and girls from low-income families in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region.
