Action "16 days against violence"

On the topic: "From peace in the house to peace on the Planet!"

     The Center for Social and Economic Development SABR together with the public youth movement "Kamolot" held the 11th annual competition of drawings and posters within the international campaign "16 days against violence" on the theme: "From peace at home to peace on the planet!" Students from 25 schools, art studios, college of arts, orphanage took part in the competition, having sent about 150 drawings and posters.

According to the results of the competition, the following places were awarded among schoolchildren and students:

1st place Mamatova Marjona, student of grade 6 "A" school number 64

 

1st place - Subkhonov Firujon, 3rd year student

 

2nd place - Anis Oblokulov, 7th grade student, school number 29

 

2nd place - Abduganiev Mirzhalol, 3rd year student

 

3rd place - Sultanova Nilufar, student of 8 "B" class of school number 60

 

3rd place - Doston Zhabborov, 3rd year student

 

More than 300 people took part in the presentation concert, which ended the action on December 12, 2013.

The participants expressed their attitude to the problem by leaving signatures on the Wall: “We are against violence! We are for peace in the family! We are for peace on the planet!

 

Creative youth of Samarkand supported the action with their musical numbers.

Prize-winners were awarded valuable gifts, other participants were awarded nominations with incentive prizes.

As part of our media campaign, seminars and trainings were held, informational meetings with young women and girls in the ICR of Urgut and Akdarya districts, with students of the College of Information Technologies, with students of SamMI, with psychologists and social workers of the education system of the Samarkand region, which were attended by more 100 people. Through participation in these events, the participants were able to raise their awareness of the issues of resolving conflict situations in the family, raising children, and preventive measures to prevent domestic violence.
